Whatever be your background or work experience, if you have the passion
and skills to make a difference in the lives of poor communities, as
a volunteer / intern at IGS you choose from opportunities to offer business
development and technical training to community institutions, design
institutional systems for community institutions, develop a branding
programme for community institutions, design packaging and branding
for different produce / products of community institutions, link community
institutions to markets, work with producers to develop products, identify
challenges and develop proposals around these challenges, design and
deliver customized training programme for IGS team members, conduct
studies and surveys. You must have a deep desire to work with and often
live with poor communities, and be willing to travel widely. The internship
/ volunteering process includes submission of a) statement of purpose
and b) curriculum vitae to email@example.com,
followed by personal interview. At the end of the internship / volunteering
assignment, interns submit a report and make a presentation to IGS management,
which is duly certified by IGS.
To strengthen our interventions, we seek collaborations with corporate foundations, corporate social responsibility initiatives, government departments, market players, venture capitalists, technology based enterprises, international funders, university & other knowledge centres and entrepreneurs.
